Missed a Shih Tzu Blizzard

Wow, we just missed a blizzard on Friday. Shih Tzu’s like snow, but a blizzard in April? We were supposed to get about 16” of snow and the storm went about 20 miles south of us and all we got was a few flurries. I am so glad that we didn’t have to have all that wet sloppy snow this time of year. It is hard for me to do my business outside in that slop. Anyway, I am very thankful for me that it went to the south.

I just want a few months of really nice dry weather. The thunderstorms are cool but why do the jets fly in the sky every time the light flashes. Don’t they understand that it is dangerous? Pop tells me that that is thunder, well duh pop, thanks for the information. I am just a Shih Tzu and you can’t expect me to know that. I just say what relates to me.

We go for walks a lot now and a ride in the car almost every night, Shih Tzu’s love to travel and whenever I get a chance to go in the car or truck, I pounce on it.

The grass is really getting green now. It is really neat because I get to lie on the green grass and chew my bone. On warm days the green grass is cool on my body. Shih Tzu’s don’t really like the warm weather so in the shade and on the grass is where it is at.

The days are longer now and I get to play ball with pop in the back yard now after he comes home from work. That is cool. Who wants to be locked in a house for as long as this winter has been? Not me, it is fun going outside and keeping the rabbits and squirrels in their place. They just can’t mess with Sully Cool Dog. Not in my House.

I have been working out lately. How does a 10 lb Shih Tzu work out? No I don’t’ lift weights, I go on mile long walks with pop and we go up a hill and look at the Denver city skyline from there. He thinks it is really cool up there; all I get out of it is sniffing the grass for foreign objects and also to learn my way back. Sometimes I think he is goofy on what he thinks is cool. Walk a mile to see a view? My goodness pop, why can’t we just take the car or truck? Oh well.

Shih Tzu Baseball

I love this time of year. This is my second spring in life and last year this Shih Tzu didn’t know what was going on when it comes to baseball. All I knew was that I was able to hang around with pop a lot because he watches a lot of the Rockies games, or at least he does until mid May because by then they are usually out of any pennant race. I hope they get into at least July this year because I get to relax with him and sit on his lap while he tunes into the games.. Anytime I get to monopolize his time if a good thing for me because I am a high maintenance Shih Tzu.

I was really excited when the weather started turning nice here in March. We had several 70 degree days and it was pretty dry. Then April came. Here is what I don’t get. Isn’t April closer to summer than March? If so, why did we end up with a lot of Snow around Easter? At least most of it melted before the end of the day. We don’t get the super freezing cold this time of year.

The grass is green now and I am really enjoying being outside. Even Shih Tzu’s get cabin fever. It is nice to sit outside on my patio chair ( yes my chair, I deserve it)
The flowers are coming up, like I really care, but pop is writing this and he thinks it means that the warmer weather is coming. Here is what I think – I have a place to dig and bury my bones but don’t tell anyone that or I will be in big trouble.

I am going now, will see you soon.

Sully Shih Tzu March Activities

Hello from Sully Shih Tzu.
Once again it has taken a while to post here, but I wanted to let everyone know how I have been lately in Shih Tzu land.

This is my second spring in Colorado and it has been real nice considering the winter we had. The skies have been clear for the most part and temps in the 60’s and 70’s most of March, except for Thursday morning. 5" of snow. All of the snow had melted in the first 2 weeks of March and I was able to claim my yard again. It has been fun running around chasing the ball pop throws and also going after the squirrels. I wish I could climb a tree so I could hang with the little guys. Oh well, the snow melts alot faster this time of year, in fact most of it is gone already.

I am getting close to getting a brother. Mom is going to get me a brother sometime around the middle to the end of April. His name is going to be Toby. That will be so cool because I will have someone to play with all the time. I am sure he won’t have to go to work like pop does. I miss him when he is gone, but I like hanging around with mom. She takes me everywhere. I get to meet people at the place she exercises, she takes me in to meet them and I get a little nervous, but I am getting over it. I think it is fun when I go in there with her after she works out.

I have been a very stubborn Shih Tzu lately because I won’t eat sometimes. Mom and Pop try to make me eat and they keep working at it until they find the right thing for me, but I really make them work at it. I still don’t think they get the fact that it is all about Sully Cool Dog the Shih Tzu and I will eat when I feel like it. I know the dog food they have fed me is not on the recall list. I am glad of that. What is up with that anyway? How does stuff like that happen? Mom is really careful about what I do get to eat.

I took a walk today with pop, kind of cold but we made a half mile up a hill and then we got to see the whole city of Denver from there. He thinks it is cool, but what do I care about a view. All I really do anyway is smell the trail. I have to remember my way back so I can take the lead from pop.

Ok, I have to go, I promise I will post more often- I have also been working on my website- I didn’t like how the links worked so I just messed it all up, started from scratch again.
Bye from Shih Tzu Land

10 lbs of Shih Tzu Terror

Last Monday the weather was very nice, one of the nicest days we have had in a long time. I was just minding my own business in my Shih Tzu world when I spotted this guy out in front. I usually give them a nice bark as a greeting ( loud, but always wag my tail).
Something happened that got me all excited. I realized he wasn’t a neighbor and he was looking around the yard. I was getting very nervous about that so I had to warn mom.
By the time she came to see what I was excited about he had jumped the fence to get to the back yard.
Talk about 10 lbs of Shih Tzu terror coming unleashed. I went absolutely out of my Shih Tzu mind My hair was standing up so straight it looked like I had a flat top and you could land a plane on it. I was jumping on anything that would get me to a window, barking my brains out, completely coming unglued. Heck I have seen pop come unglued before, but no way can he even compare with what I did. I ripped thru the house, kitchen window, bedroom window, upstairs windows, living room windows, on the bed, night stand (you get the point)
Mom recognized him as a person reading the meter and she was talking to him and couldn’t hear him. Finally he was able to get the things done he needed to, but then, I was let outside and I went thru every square foot that he traveled and to just explain to you, no where is there any scent but mine on the ground. If he ever comes back he will not know where he was. Oh now I am told humans don’t really mark their territories. Oh well, this Shih Tzu does.

Ok, I am tired from that episode, weather is getting much nicer, and I am going to lounge for a while

By for now

Sully Shih Tzu Can Almost See the Yard

It’s true. This Shih Tzu can almost see some of the grass in the back yard. The snow is finally stating to melt and we are going longer between snow storms.
The way I see it as a Shih Tzu is that the front yard will be snow free about the time the Rockies start playing baseball. I sure hope it is.
That is only about 6 weeks from now.
It is kind of cool because I can climb the ice and I feel so much taller. I am now 3’ high Shih Tzu when I am in the front yard. How do I figure – 2’ of snow and my 1’ height.

This is more like Shih Tzu weather now. Not too hot and not too cold. Pop is taking walks now and that is cool but with the better weather, he wants to go a lot farther than I do. I have to just stop in the middle of the walk so he will take me back. He gets really mad at me and says lets go. I am a Shih Tzu and if you don’t know, we are very stubborn.
I end up always getting my way, but I think he is going to go out at times when he doesn’t have to take me so that kind of bums me out.

Today with the weather getting warmer, I was able to sit on my chair on the patio in the back yard. That was kind of cool since I hadn’t done that in a while. I can also move about the yard some now and it is like having a new yard since it has been covered in snow and I can’t remember what was where.

Our neighbor has a new puppy now and I can’t wait to be able to antagonize it when it spends more time outside in a few more weeks.

Talk to you later

I Am Going to Get a Brother

One of these days soon I am going to get a brother. Mom has been looking for a brother for me and sometime in April I am going to have a buddy to play with. Not that I don’t mind playing with mom and pop all the time but I do miss my sister Chanel. It is nice to play tug of war and chase each other around when ever we want to. My brothers name is going to be Toby. Of course it is not as cool as Sully (here goes the sibling rivalry)
I am going to have to break him in right and show him who is the boss. It will be nice to help him groom, I remember doing that with my sister all the time.
I thought I would post this article below so mom and pop understand about how my new brother may be chewing a lot so they don’t get upset.

My Puppy Chews a Lot - Mostly on Me

Puppies who chew are normal. Chewing is a natural and necessary puppy behavior. Puppies at about four months of age are more prone to chewing because this is when they usually start teething. Other dogs that chew, especially when you are not at home, may be suffering from separation anxiety. Separation anxiety requires an entire new behavior treatment plan. In this article, I want to give you a few tips for your typical, normal-behaving puppy chewer!
Some things you can do is try to teach your puppy not to chew inappropriate items. You can sit on the floor with him, casually place an object before him like a shoe, or a pencil (something he has chewed on inappropriately). As puppy approaches the object, give a firm "No," and replace the item with appropriate chew toy. When puppy takes the appropriate chew toy, praise him. You might even offer him a treat to try and reenforce the appropriate behavior and also.....that chewing on treats is alright too.
Have a variety of chew toys on hand. Give him no more than 3 or 4 chew toys at a time. Rotate the chew toys to provide variety and to help stimulate interest. Puppies can be compared to children who enjoy a new toy or returning to a toy they have not played with in a while.
Keep plenty of Bitter Apple Spray on hand and use it on spots where you find puppy has chewed or is about to chew. This has been the absolute best trick I have ever found in keeping puppies/dogs away from objects I don't want them chewing on.
My Puppy Bites my Hands When we Play!
If you have ever watched puppies playing together or moms playing with their puppies, you will notice how they nip and bite each other sometimes to the point of what sounds like a blood curling scream.....Very Normal Behavior, however. Not so pleasant though when puppy plays with you and attempts the same kind of antics. You will need to teach puppy not to play biting games with you. Try screaming: "Ouch!" Walk away from her for several minutes. You don't want to give her attention for this behavior. You want to plainly tell her "THAT HURTS," and I do not like it!!! If she just barely touches your skin with a little nip, just gently say "No." Try feeding her treats straight from your hand and do not throw them on the floor or leave them out for her to nibble on. Sort of like, puppies/dogs will not bite the hands that feed them, most usually, unless they have some kind of severe psychological disorder. You can also grab her mouth, hold it together firmly and say "NO BITE."

Sully Shih Tzu

Once again it has been a while since I wrote an entry to this blog, but what can a Shih Tzu do when it snows 7 straight weeks and I stay in the house most of the time.
I do get out when mom and pop take me for our nightly rides just in case someone is brave enough to walk their dogs and I get a chance to say hello to them. The good news is the weather is starting to get better and I don’t live in upstate New York. I feel for you guys up there. Over 100 “ of snow and still counting. I was acting like the end of the world here when we had 74” in 7 weeks. I hope your lakes freeze over soon so the wind can’t pick up the moisture and drop it on you as snow.
We are looking at maybe more snow this Tuesday and Wed and they don’t know how much. That is a warning in itself.
The other night pop took me out for a ride, he knew I was getting bored and he had to go drop some books off at the library (can you believe that, I only thought he watched sports, but he reads too) anyway, I am always looking for my brothers and sisters in the hood and I saw what I thought was one and I got real vocal with him. Pop said it was a Coyote and it was only about 3 blocks from the house. I guess that is why he is always on my tail when I go out especially at night. He said that Coyotes are not my friend and that they are looking for food and I would be just the right meal. As long as I am in the car and that Coyote is outside, I know I am a lot tougher than he is. Anyway, I have to watch myself especially since a lot of the snow has melted and I am back to exploring the backyard again.
I got a haircut today and I feel so much better . I really like it when I get cleaned up. I am used to it now and I don’t even whine anymore when I go in. The ladies there really like me because I am so cute. It really helps my Shih Tzu ego out a lot.

I will leave now and good luck to upstate New York.

Just Shih Tzu Chillin Lately

Hello all,

Well this Shih Tzu hasn't been doing much since the last post. It has been pretty much just snow about every 5 days, so I have just been kind of hanging inside the house, going outside when I need to and taking a few rides with mom and pop. We haven't been much above freezing for about 5 weeks now, but I think after tomorrow's minor storm( 1"-3") we are going to warm up some. I haven't seen the grass in the back yard since Dec 19th. We still have about 15" of sow in the back yard so I have to just walk on the trails that pop build which are frozen solid. I can stay outside for about 4-5 minutes before my paws start to hurt. When that happens, pop picks me up and carries me inside because he knows that I am not smart enough to figure out what is happening. He doesn't want me to get frostbite. I just kind of stop moving and lift my back paw when that happens, but pop stays outside with me the whole time and will not let me out of his sight. I am looking forward to some warmer weather so I can chase the squirrels that seem to own the back yard right now. Once it gets nicer out,

I will rule again!

We went out for a ride tonight and stopped at Starbucks drive thru so mom could get an ice tea. Pop always rolls the window down so I can act real cute and hopefully get a biscuit from the guy that gives the drink out. Tonight he saw me and said I was really good tonight because I didn't growl or bark. If you remember from my earlier posts that I was really getting on them since they spoiled me a while back by always having a biscuit, then they went a few times without having any and I was really letting them have it.

What I can't figure out is why when Mom goes to another place, I guess it is a bank, she stops at the machine in the drive thru and there is no one to give me a biscuit. I don't get it, how does she get stuff from the machine with no one there? What a confusing world for a Shih Tzu.

Anyway, Have to go now - Bye All

Enough Snow - OK?

Hello All,

Sorry once again that it has taken so long to post to my blog. I have an issue with my typist, seems like he is just a little too busy for me at times. I am going to have to have a serious talk with him to see if he still really wants this job.

I mean, does it look like there has been that much snow that he has to spend most of his time shoveling? Just because we have added another mountain top in Colorado in my front yard. At least it is called Sully's Peak. I figure this glacier will be there until, lets see, June?. Global warming? Where is the global warming at?

Anyway, the back yard is just as bad, so where do I do my business? At least mom knows that the old adage that it runs downhill is true. After the first snow storm on Dec 20th, 21st (big blizzard), some of it actually melted before we had our second snow storm(blizzard 7 days later) I was able to climb up the hill in the back and went to my favorite place (been very confusing lately because I can't get the scent of where I have been) anyway, as I was saying I went up the hill and did my thing. The next thing I know is that I feel good and mom is calling pop at work and said, Guess what, it really does roll downhill. Get the point?

Oh and we had another snowstorm last Friday, lets see 3 snow storms in 3 weeks. And it looks like another one coming this Thursday and Friday. What is this, the North Pole? Anartica? So far we have had 50" of snow at our house since Dec 20th. Not complaining, just stating the facts.

Here is a tip for those of you that have pets in cold climates like this. If they can't do their business, give them a dab of vaseline in the back part, that will help us. It gets so cold outside sometimes that it starts to go then can't. I hate to have to write about this, but if it helps out, I am happy about that.

I haven't been eating too good since my sister Chanel (poodle) left and went to Reno to join Coco ( another poodle and real sisters). But mom got really smart one day and told the vet and she suggested a meal of rice and boiled hamburger. Wow, that was the ticket, I really like that stuff and now I eat much better than I did. That is another hint if you have a Shih_Tzu that is as stubborn as me. I like to be spoon fed at times.

Ok, I am going to leave now

Bye all

Christmas Night Shih Tzu Bath

Hello and Merry Christmas again,
What a day so far for this Shih Tzu.It was about time for my bath tonight and pop took me outside to do my business before I get my bath. There is alot of snow outside, probably still about 15" and pop built alot of trails as I stated before.
He went inside after I did my business, I usually stay out for a few minutes just to bug him. He was getting my bath ready, towels, shampoo etc, then he came back out about 3 minutes later and was calling for me. I didn't answer. He kept calling me and calling me, still no answer. I heard him go into the house and he said to mom, he couldn't find me. He got a flashlight and then came back out to look again. Still no answer, now I can tell he is getting very nervous because at least I usually make a movement and my dog tags rattle and he can hear me. He then starts calling a little louder just in case I am in defiance because he thinks I am aware I am getting a bath and I like to play hard to get. Still no answer from me. Now here is where his brilliance as a legendary tracker sets in. He starts going into the snow that has not been touched, no tracks, not even any clue of me being in that area. He starts moving snow, calling for me thinking I might have had the snow cave in around me. Still he can't see me. Then the light bulb comes on, he logically deducts that if he sees no tracks, I must not be in the snow. The last time I checked, I couldn't fly and now he is starting to figure it out. Hey pop, try the dog house, maybe you will find me, but since you were calling my name louder than usual, I am not going to answer, I think I am in trouble. Remember yesterday when you were getting excited watching the Broncos win and you would get excited when they made a great play and I would think you were yelling at me? Keep your cool dude! Remember, it is all about me, ok? Anyway, Guess what, he finally checks the dog house by the back door and of course I am in there curled up. It is warm there. Once again, I am amazed at how sharp he is lately. He and mom taught me what the dog house was and it isn't like this is the first time I have gone there. Anyway, it was really interesting around here for about 10 minutes.

I still had to have my bath.

All is ok now, this house is just hilarious sometimes(most of the time).

I have to go now and see what else happens tonight.

Bye

More Pics from Christmas - Sully Shih Tzu

Merry Christmas,

I had trouble putting on these images on my last post, so I thought I would put them on this one. I just got back from sledding with pop also. I went down the hill 2 times, pop 4 times, and the people there couldn't believe there was a Shih Tzu going down the hill. Pop told them, I love it (and I do) that I was a cool dog. Nothing like going down the hill and pop carrying me up the hill. Once again, I do no work and get all the fun. Pop isn't real bright sometimes, but I love him.

Bye for now

Sully's Christmas

Hello, Merry Christmas
Wow, what a day so far. It started last night when mom and pop spread a big sheet out in the TV room and gave me a big juicy bone. I have a pic of the bone from today. What a treat that was. I was ok for about 10 minutes, but then I had to think about where I was going to hide the bone and I didn't know I wasn't allowed to take it off the sheet. I guess it was just too juicy to get on the rugs. After a few attempts, mom put the sheet in her lap and let me chew on the bone for about 1/2 hour. That was nice. Then the bone was put up on the counter, I was full, so it could dry out. Today, I get to take it around the house, and I can hide it. The problem is, I worry too much about who is going to take the bone from me, so I am constantly moving it around. I guess I just don't understand that mom and pop don't want the bone, so I am not sure why I must hide it all the time. Must be instinct. I know they don't want it hidden in the house and sometimes, I can't find it, so I know they did and it goes away. Bummer.

What is this? Presents? I got 2 stockings, one with toys and the other with some cookies. Man, this is a really cool day for me. I have put the pictures on here to share with you.
Pop says we are going to take a couple runs down the hill today with the sled. We had about 2" of fresh snow last night(makes about 35" for the week) and it is beautiful out today. Can't wait for that. It is fun going down the hill in the sled with pop. He is crazy for an old man.
I know he sure loves to have fun and has never forgot what it was like to be a kid.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Wow- Too Much Snow

Wow, I am sure everyone has seen the news and how much snow we had in this area the last 2 days. These are some of the pictures of the back yard and the tunnels that pop dug for me so I could do my business. I am not used to having walls like this to deal with. I get confused and try to dig into them, but all I get is more snow. Will this ever melt? Pop says this happened about 10 years ago and it melted in about 2 months. Wow, that sucks, I bet he digs more paths for me before the winter is over.

We had 33 inches of snow the last 2 days. That is almost 3 times my height. I have to watch out for icicles now from the roof when I go out, Don't want one of those to fall and pierce me like a knife. Pop needs to do a lot of work around here for my safety.

These tunnels are kind of neat, because before pop got home I had to run around in about 7" of snow and I get real wet and cold when that happens. You can see how high the snow is next to me.

I think I lost my way on this one. Need to take a left. I didn't know pop took this pic.

Anyway, I just wanted to share these pics with everyone so you can see what I have been up to the last few days. All my best to all the people stranded here at the airport and hopefully everyone got home Wed and Thursday night if they were stranded.

Bye for now

Holiday Lights & NBA Crap

Hello.

Last Saturday night, Dec. 9th, I got to go to Denver with Mom and Pop to see the capitol buidling all lit up. It was really cool for me, because the lights are so beautiful that it draws a lot of people out to see them. You know what that means to me. I get to bark at lots of people. Now when I bark and my tail wags, I am just trying to say hi to everyone, but I know that sometimes I sound very ferocious for a 10 lb dog and it really scares some people. At least I think it does (feed my ego, ok?). Well there were lots of people, the lines to turn into the capitol to see the lights head on were about 20 minutes long. We decided to take a quick drive by look and then head back to the hood we live in. It turned out good for me because I got to bark at a lot of people, one on one, walking their dogs. Actually 2 times I flew from the back seat to the front seat because I got all fired up with some of the big dogs walking. I don't know if you know it, but I am pretty tough behind the protection of the glass windows in the car. I can take on any 50 - 100 lb dog. Just try me.

Now for this week:

Saturday night my pop was watching the Denver Nuggets, Knicks game and at the end of it there was a big fight. Now I don't mind a fight once in a while and it is going to happen, but when it comes time for the punishments to get doled out, I expect it to be fair.
Yes, our guy shouldn't have thrown a punch, he got what he deserved, but I don't get why the punk coach of the Knicks doesn't get any type of discipline. The way I see it, if he wouldn't have had his idiot grab J.R. and throw him to the floor in a meaningless layup, none of this crap would have happened. Hey NBA, where is the penalty for that punk Bad Boy Thomas. I don't get it. David, where is the accountability? Do you condone what he said to Carmelo? If I am not mistaken, you can read his lips, he said it. By the way, why is it that Carmelo has got the crap kick out of him time and again when he plays under the boards and takes shots and very seldom he goes to the line?
Anyway, my pop says it will be hard for him to watch the NBA anymore and that means I don't get to lay on the bed with him when he does watch a game in the bedroom which I enjoy doing. Thanks David, that sucks.

Good night

Shih Tzu in the Sun

Here I am laying in the warm sun I was talking about earlier. Ahh, the life of a Shih Tzu. Need some lotion and a friend. BYE, back to slumberland

Sully

Car Wash

Hello again,

I had the experience of a lifetime. Now us Shih Tzu's are pretty cool most of the time, but I went thru my first car wash on Tuesday night. It was ok at first, I just barked at the pre rinse, but when the helicopters (it sounded like it) landed on the roof of the car, I actually sprouted wings and went from the back seat to the front seat without touching any solid surface. What was that? I thought we were under attack. Anyway it took about 5 minutes to calm down, then we went thru the dryer. I was a little nervous at first about that, but I could at least see out the front window. Couldn't do that while in the wash with all the soap on the windshield.
I also got a haircut last Friday and it finally warmed up here. It is going to be 60 today. Makes it nice to go on walks with pop.
That is all for now

Bye

December 1st

Hello again,

It is hard to believe that it is already December. It has been cold here lately. We had some snow and it got down to -2 degrees Wednesday morning. I like the snow and cold as you can tell from the video on my website.

I have really been giving it to the Starbucks drive thru personnel lately because they don't have a dog biscuit for me. The first couple times I just growled at them but last night I really chewed them out. They said that they would make sure the next time I came back they would have a biscuit for me. Now I am going to go a couple of days without stopping by and then see if they hold true. They are really nice, I don't expect a biscuit, but they spoiled me for a long time by always having one. What am I to expect????

Got a haircut today and cleaned up some, It feels good to be groomed and I know when I am groomed and clean that the ladies really like me. I can't help it that I am adorable and humble too. (It runs in the family)

I will keep in touch

Took a Trip Today

Hi again,

Today I got an extra special treat. I got to go to Starbucks and also to pops work and see him and some of the people he works with. That was cool to see other people and show them how cool I really am. ( I think so anyway).

I also went to Starbucks as Mom got a Tea. Once again they didn't have a biscuit for me so I had to let them have it with my bark. They will learn soon.

Last night pop and I were play a game we call glove. He goes and gets some leather garden gloves and I got nuts and wrestle with him. He can play rougher that way because he doesn't have to worry about me biting him. Anyway, he got tired after about a half hour and he put the glove on the end of the bed. He didn't know it, but I was being a dog again and I ate some of the glove before he figured it out. He got a little upset with me, but oh well.
Today I know mom called him about noon and told him that the piece of glove was now on the hill in the back yard. You know how it got there don't you? Well figure it out.

Anyway, gotta go now, Later

Feed Me a Dog Biscuit

A couple days ago Mom and Pop went to Starbucks to get an ice tea and they always take me with them when they do this.
We go to the drive thru and when they get their tea, I usually get a dog biscuit. I got a little excited because the lady didn't see me in the car, so I had to let her know that I was there. I growled and then barked at her. I was ok, she finally figured it out and gave me a biscuit.
Now today was a different story. Mom took me with her and I had to do the same thing, however they ran out of them so I didn't get one today. Bummer.
Now here is the hard part about being a dog. I can be in a sound sleep and whenever a commercial on the TV comes on that has a door bell ring, I go nuts and start running thru the house and barking. I can never figure out who is outside. I have to be peeled back from the window before I settle down. Some day I will figure it out.

I am going to leave now, talk to you later

Back to the Future

Hello Everyone

I apologize for being so long between posts. I promise I won't be as long from here on out.
I wanted to bring you up to date from where I started posting Sully Cool Shih Tzu.

Lets go back to the beginning:

I was born in Phoenix Az on May 17, 2004. It was a farm with all kind of animals. In fact, one of my first run ins was with a horse. He stepped on my tail and it hurt a lot and now I have a kink in my tail. It is cool because it makes me different from other Shih Tzu's.

Oh another thing, I have en extra toe on my back paws. That really makes me different.

Anyway, on July 17th a very nice lady came and I feel in love with her. She took me home with her(vacation home with her daughter). That was very nice. She had me sleep on the bed while she was training me. She put some pillows around me so I wouldn't run away at night. When I had to go potty,I would lick her had and she would take me out.

I went to the vet with her and they gave me some medicine to keep from having worms. It is a good thing too, because a few days later, lets just say that I wouldn't have made it in this life because a lot of worms left my body because of the medicine. Thank you mom.

Then she was by the pool and she found out that I like water. I jumped in, good thing I can swim, because she doesn't swim. I was in the shallow end and she got me.

Then, a few days later, I flew home with mom and met pop in Denver. I went to my home and met my sisters Coco and Chanel. We got along good, but now they are at another home with mom's daughter in another town, so I don't get to see them.

Ok. I learned about snow in Colorado and how much I love it. Pop and I play football in it and he likes to tackle me after he throws the ball.

Any way that kind of sums it up. My next posts will be about what is happening currently from here on out. I think that kind of gets us all up to date.

Talk to you later
